Social housing is housing owned or heavily subsidized by the government that is rented out at low prices in order to provide affordable housing in a community.

On March 26th, the republican governor of Florida signed a bill into law that prohibits anyone under the age of 14 from using any form of social media, and only allows those aged 14-15 from using social media with explicit parental consent. The bill will require platforms to have robust mechanisms for verifying the age of all users.

In status quo, individuals are allowed to donate their organs and other tissues (kidneys, blood, bone marrow, etc.) to those in medical need. In most countries, including Canada, it is illegal to financially compensate somebody for a donation.

Proportional representation is a type of electoral system in which the seats in government are assigned based on the percentage of votes a party gets in the election (ie. if a party gets 35% of the votes they get 35% of the seats in parliament). Proportional representation is used in countries such as Spain, Israel, and Austria. First past the post is another type of electoral system in which a country is divided into regions of approximately equal population (often called ridings), and each riding represents one seat in the parliament. In an election whichever candidate wins the most votes in a riding (not neccessarily the majority) wins the riding and holds that seat in parliament. First past the post is used in countries like Canada, the United Kingdom, and India's lower house.

An 'automation tax' is a policy in which governments heavily tax companies who adopt technologies which displace workers (robotic assembly lines, artificial intelligence etc.)

The gender matrix is a simulation where people experience an accurate simulation of living as a different gender for a month, however the simulation itself would only take 1 hour in the real world. The race, class, sexuality, profession of your life in the simulation would be randomized.

Post-humous publication refers to the publishing of a work after its creators death, usually with the permission of the next of kin (children, spouse, etc.). In some cases unfinished works are published without edits, while in other cases the works are heavily edited or finished by other authors. Some examples include the Silmarillion by J.R.R Tolkien which was assembled from a collection of different writings by his son, virtually all of Emily Dickinson's poems, and Until August by Gabriel García Márquez.
