Parasocial relationships refer to one-sided relationships between fans and celebrities. They often entail a sense of friendship between fan and celebrity.

On August 6th, 2024 Ukrainian regular forces launched an incursion into the Kursk region of Russia. This marks the most significant cross border attack since the original invasion, and the first carried out by Ukranian forces. Both Russia and Ukraine's allies were surprised by the incursion.
